Are you a seasoned Programme Manager with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in banking?
We're looking for a high-impact Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation programmes within Transactional Services (TS)—driving execution, alignment, and measurable business outcomes.
About the Role
This role is the single point of accountability for programme delivery—translating business strategy into executable plans and ensuring benefits are realised across multiple workstreams.
You'll work at the intersection of business, technology, operations, risk, and compliance, managing complexity while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery & Execution
- Lead large-scale TS programmes across business, IT, operations, risk, and compliance
- Define and manage programme roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations
Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Engage senior stakeholders, including Exco and SteerCo
- Deliver clear, concise programme reporting and insights
- Manage escalations, expectations, and governance forums
Governance, Risk & Control
- Implement robust governance frameworks (RAID logs, reporting, controls)
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery and regulatory risks
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit standards
Financial & Benefits Management
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
- Drive benefits realisation, cost optimisation, and efficiency tracking
- Support business cases and investment decisions
Change & Delivery Enablement
- Drive adoption through structured change management and communication
- Coordinate delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments
- Enable collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

What We're Looking For
Experience:
- Proven experience delivering large, complex programmes in banking/financial services
- Strong background in Transactional Services, Payments, Cash Management, or Core Banking
- Experience managing multi-workstream, multi-vendor programmes
- Strong exposure to executive-level stakeholder engagement
Technical & Delivery Skills:
- Programme delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and benefits tracking
- Excellent risk, dependency, and issue management capability
- High-quality executive reporting and communication
Qualifications & Certifications
- Degree in Business / Commerce / Administration
- Postgraduate Diploma in Project or Programme Management
- PMP® (Project Management Professional)
- Scrum Certification
- SAFe® (Scaled Agile) Certification
- ITIL® 4 Foundation
