Description
The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt seeks a full-time pediatric radiologist for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic tracks in Nashville, TN.
Position Summary:
- Section comprised of 18 fellowship-trained day time faculty and two ACGME fellows
- Focus on providing high-quality imaging interpretations with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
- 358-bed tertiary referral center with a catchment area extending to southern Kentucky. Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt features Centers of Excellence for treating various pediatric disorders and is also home to a Level IV-designated NICU and an active maternal-fetal medicine program. Multiple pediatric subspecialty surgical programs include cardiac, orthopedics, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, ENT, and ophthalmology
- The department is equipped with two new state-of-the-art ultrafast dual energy CT scanner with plans to acquire photon counting scanner in the upcoming fiscal year, four MRI scanners (1.5 and 3T), state-of-the-art flat panel digital fluoroscopy, scintigraphy, and Siemens US
- Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Pediatric Radiology CAQ certified/eligible, additional training/experience in pediatric cardiac imaging and/or MSK preferred but not required
- Hold an MD or equivalent degree
- ABR eligible/certified
- Eligible for TN license
