We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sustainability Manager to lead our environmental, social, and building performance initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to drive organizational change and deliver measurable sustainability outcomes. This role will play a key part in advancing our ESG strategy, improving building performance, and supporting our long‑term sustainability commitments.
Key Responsibilities :
• Drive the integration and alignment of sustainability across key business units and corporate functions.
• Liaise with the Executive Management Team, regional business leaders, and internal stakeholders to prioritize sustainability issues and emerging topics.
• Engage with external stakeholders and represent the company with third‑party organizations, government agencies, and industry associations.
• Establish, monitor, and report on sustainability performance goals, KPIs, and metrics.
• Ensure completion of all regulatory, customer, and certification‑related sustainability submissions. Research government programs and incentives that support environmental targets.
• Monitor global, federal, and provincial environmental regulations and develop internal policies, training, and communications to ensure compliance.
• Benchmark, synthesize, and communicate internal and external sustainability trends; identify emerging issues and opportunities for collaboration and leadership.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in
Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture
, or a related field.

LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification

Minimum
5 years of experience
in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or green building.

Proven experience managing
certification processes

Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is
$110,000-$160,000
. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
