About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact Platform Architect to drive the evolution of our complex IT & financial operations.
In this role you will be the driving force behind a robust technical strategy that ensures our IT & financial systems are scalable, secure, and automated. You will act as a trusted advisor to non-technical system owners, translating business needs into a clear, ambitious technical roadmap.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who wants to architect the agentic, AI-driven future of finance operations.
At the essence of this role is:
Ownership: Define, own and drive the architectural vision for our financial ecosystem. You will ensure our systems (Netsuite, Anaplan, Aaro, Looker, etc.) are integrated and automated to ensure that they support our business goals of fast and accurate financial reporting, and support an agentic future.
Partner: Be the go-to technical advisor for system owners and leaders in Finance, Tech, Publishing, and beyond. Translate complexity into clarity, and make sure technical decisions serve business outcomes.
Modernization. You are expected to drive modernization efforts of our financial systems and be a self starter with a vision.
We believe that you have:
Deep technical foundation in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, fintech platforms, ERP integrations) is a strong plus.
Business fluency. You see technology as a means to an end.
High agency. You spot problems, define the solution, and move. Permission isn't a prerequisite.
Excellent communicator. Equally comfortable explaining API design to a CFO and compliance requirements to an engineer.
Pragmatism. You balance long-term architectural integrity with the realities of a fast-moving business.
8+ years in software engineering and system architecture
Proven experience scaling enterprise financial systems
Track record leading cross-functional initiatives with diverse stakeholders
Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, ITGC)
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
