This is an excellent opportunity for someone mechanically inclined who wants to grow their skills in industrial maintenance within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Apprentice supports the upkeep and repair of production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role works closely with experienced technicians to learn troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment setup.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in a mechanical or hands-on role (preferred, not required)
Mechanically inclined; exposure to CNC equipment is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Ability to manage parts and maintenance inventory
Comfortable with basic computer use for research and tracking
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment
Help set up and calibrate machinery for optimal performance
Support sourcing and organizing parts for repairs
Work alongside senior technicians and external contractors as needed
Participate in cross-training across departments
Help maintain production flow by supporting other roles when necessary
Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment
Perform other duties as assigned
