MCB Registry and Securities Ltd., subsidiary of MCB Capital Markets Ltd. Markets (MCBCM) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support and oversee its registry and securities operations. The role focuses on delivering efficient, compliant, and high-quality operational services while strengthening client relationships, driving process improvements, and developing team capabilities in a fast paced financial services environment.

Job vacancy: Operations Coordinator
In this role you will,
- Maintain effective relationships with issuers, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and service delivery;
- Deliver timely and accurate client reporting and transaction processing in line with agreed deadlines;
- Review existing client agreements and follow up to ensure timely execution;
- Prepare proposals for new and existing clients in relation to corporate events, new products, and assignments;
- Manage the maintenance, accuracy, and validation of all Issuer Registers, stock records, and CDS allotment and debit files;
- Coordinate and oversee all corporate events (e.g. dividend payments, rights issues, annual meetings) to ensure completion within agreed timelines;
- Ensure adherence to agile working practices, including sprint execution, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Provide guidance on the setup, processing, and resolution of complex financial instruments within operational systems;
- Oversee day to day operations to ensure efficiency, identify enhancements, and maintain up to date procedures;
- Assess and recommend procedural and system enhancements to the Director to improve operational effectiveness;
- Support the Director and client facing teams by advising on system capabilities for new products or instruments;
- Review system access rights and propose changes in collaboration with the Director and Risk & Compliance teams;
- Monitor team productivity and performance, implementing corrective actions and optimising resource planning and overtime;
- Evaluate and prioritise new projects or enhancements to improve service levels in line with market developments;
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and best practice standards;
- Assess individual and team performance after each sprint and during annual reviews;
- Build team capability through coaching, training, performance management, and continuous knowledge sharing;
- Participate in recruitment, development planning, and performance evaluation of team members.

We are looking for candidates who have a:
EITHER
- Completed degree in Financial Services/ Finance;
- At least 5 years' experience in the financial services sector;
OR
- Diploma in Financial Services/ Finance;
- At least 8 years' experience in the financial services sector;
AND
- At least 3 years’ experience in fund administration or corporate administration;
- At least 3 years’ experience leading a team.
A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
Candidates who possess the following qualifications will also be considered:
MBA OR completed professional qualifications such as (ACCA, ICSA, CISI).
