Robotics Engineer
Your area of responsibility
As part of our team, you will drive forward our product portfolio for drive systems in robotics, improve existing drives and support our customers in their design and application. The drive systems are used in humanoid robots, quadrupeds, surgical robots and autonomous guided robots.
- developing requirements for the development of new products in robotics
- firmware development for our robotics products
- supporting customers in the field of complex mechatronic systems in close collaboration with Sales and the Business Units
- testing and characterising actuators and sensors, including data acquisition and evaluation for ML models
- carrying out pre-development projects for future drive systems
This job is exactly right for you if...
- have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or robotics
- have at least 2–3 years’ professional experience in software development or the development of complex mechatronic systems
- have in-depth knowledge of electric drive systems
- have experience with embedded systems
- have initial or in-depth experience in the field of machine learning (e.g. system identification, machine control)
- are willing to work both in Zurich (90%) and in Sachseln (10%)
- have very good German or English language skills
