The Open VisaNet (OVN) organization provides Information Technology services that enable Visa's mission-critical core payment systems. The business applications enabled by OVN provide the essential functions that consumers, merchants, and financial institutions in the payment ecosystem need to transact payments, affect settlement of funds, manage payment risk, and manage disputed payments. The talented engineers, analysts, and project managers, as well as the leadership team that comprise OVN, deliver these market-critical services at the demanding pace that the payment industry demands while maintaining hallmark levels of reliability and availability.
The Vice President, Dispute Processing, will lead a development organization responsible for Visa's global dispute management system known as Visa Resolve Online. Visa Resolve Online (VROL) is a web-based application that supports customer service representatives and back-office analysts responsible for managing the dispute transaction life cycle. VROL is a mandated service that is crucial to the Visa brand promise of providing secure and reliable payment services by ensuring that cardholders, merchants, and issuing financial institutions have a clear dispute process and enabling technology, making resolution of disputed transactions fast and easy.
Reporting to the Head of Open VisaNet, this position has a high-impact, high-visibility role within Open VisaNet and the entire Visa technology organization. Due to the tier one, mission-critical nature of the VROL system under the scope of this position's responsibility, this candidate must ensure that the most rigid, high-availability development and problem recovery practices are in place to support Visa's leadership role in the payment ecosystem.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office more than 50% of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
