The MENA Regional Office Partnerships and Resource Mobilization (PRM) team works in a complex and fast-changing funding environment, supporting Country Offices to mobilize income and influence from public and private sector partners. In response to highly earmarked funding, limited donor diversification, declining development contributions, and increasing pressure on Official Development Assistance (ODA), the team works to diversify the funding base, unlock more flexible resources, and strengthen strategic resource mobilization support. Within this context, the Programme Associate provides programme and administrative support for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the team’s work, including data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires sound judgment, anticipation of needs, and proactive support to effective implementation and results reporting.
How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision of the regional advisor of the partnership's unit at the Regional Office, you provide specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes. The role involves substantial engagement in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organizational rules. You exercise judgment, anticipate needs, and recommend actions that contribute to programme planning, implementation and reporting results
