As our new Sales Engineer - GEN&NEW OEM (South China), you will be building and expanding our OEM business across South China, developing strategic partnerships and driving sales of innovative pump solutions for data center and IT cooling applications. What you will be doing
As a key part of the OEM Industrial Sales, China team, you'll create impact by Establishing Grundfos as the preferred pump partner in South China's rapidly growing data center and IT cooling market through strategic customer development and dealer network expansion..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop and grow the South China IT cooling business network, including new partner acquisition, stocking distributor development, and key customer engagement with a focus on E-pump sales
- Handle sales within your assigned business scope, working out sales strategies and action plans aligned with regional and corporate targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including end users, design institutes, consulting firms, and authorities
- Develop and maintain the dealer network, enhancing dealer competency in collaboration with Channel Management
- Monitor account receivable balances monthly, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure customers pay per terms to support healthy cash flow
- Implement sales policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a results-driven sales professional with solid technical knowledge of water treatment or pump systems, strong dealer management capabilities, and the business acumen to build a thriving regional sales network from the ground up. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in water process products, pumps, or related industrial equipment
- Proven skills in customer relationship management and dealer/channel development
- Familiarity with the water treatment or data center/IT cooling market in China
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience in OEM business models within the manufacturing or pump industry
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure and IT cooling applications
- Background with companies in the pump or water technology sector
You'll also be available for travelling up to 130 days per year.
