We are fueled by providing outstanding service and sharing our passion for innovative technology as part of our integrated solutions.   POSITION SUMMARY The purpose of the Senior Business Development Representative position is to generate new client revenue for Convergence Networks Managed Services Programs, IT & Cybersecurity. This is accomplished by identifying business issues and problems that can be remediated by our solutions, communicate our ability to solve these issues, and moving them through the process to sale. WHAT DO OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE’S DO?   Develop and maintain prospective client lists via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn outreach, working with our marketing team, hosting webinars with our engineers, etc. We welcome and encourage effective creativity when it comes to client generation ideas! Conduct onsite and online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects. Develop proposals, quotes, and respond to RFP/RFI documents. Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions while managing prospect expectations. Track sales activities and opportunities in our CRM tool. Networking and collaboration with centers-of-influence (COIs) Identify and engage with Networking Groups and Associations that match our customer profile.  Accountability to Sales Quota attainment  Work with the Marketing team to develop outreach campaigns for our top  Identify and engage with Networking Groups and Associations that match our customer profile.  Accountability to Sales Quota attainment  Work with the Marketing team to develop outreach campaigns for our top segments.  Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers’ needs Responsible for entering time and expenses into our ERP tool as they occur Understand and manage sales pipeline in HubSpot following the defined sales process and stages WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS I NEED TO HAVE?  Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships (preferred MSP or Technology clients) using Solution Sales. Enjoy working with customers and external audiences. High energy and drive with good negotiation skills. Proficient with general office applications. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Skill in preparing written communications and materials. Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. WHAT IS THE WORK ENVIRONMENT LIKE?  Normal office working conditions. Work requires regular sitting/standing at a desk, working with a computer. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, seeing, reaching, talking, writing, and hearing; it may require occasionally carrying or lifting equipment if working on-site.  Position requires contact with others - in meetings, by phone or by email. Interactions focus on data collection, problem solving, needs analysis and technical work. Interactions are initiated in person or electronically. Position may require some travel to customer sites. Individual compensation is determined by a combination of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive programs designed to reward individual and organizational performance.
