Job Title: Management Accountant (3 years+ PQE)

The Role
We are seeking a high-calibre Management Accountant with 3 years+ of post-qualified experience to joining our growing business and finance team. This is a pivotal role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced industry environment and wants to move beyond "just the numbers" to drive real business impact.
Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will be a key part of management team, providing the leadership team with the insights needed to make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Ownership: Manage the end-to-end day-to-day accounting function of the joint-ventures, including the general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end close; liaising with the joint venture partners.
Management Reporting: Produce monthly management packs with accurate P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Business Partnering: Work with other functions, translating financial data into actionable insights for non-finance managers.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide regular monthly forecasts to identify risks and opportunities.
Variance Analysis: Take accountability for investigating budget discrepancies and proposing corrective actions to senior leadership.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies in our financial systems and implement streamlined, automated solutions.
Ad-hoc duties: Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
About You (The Ideal Candidate)
Qualified Professional: You are a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with 3 years+ of post-qualification experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
Self-Starter: You don’t wait for instructions; you see a problem, take ownership, and drive it to a resolution.
Technical Expert: You possess advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and have a solid grasp of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Communicator: You can "tell the story" behind the data, influencing stakeholders and challenging budget holders where necessary.
Deadline Driven: You are resilient and stay calm under pressure, consistently meeting tight month-end deadlines.
