Security Specialist

NATECH is seeking candidates to fill a role on a contract supporting Joint Ballistic Missile Defense Training & Education Center of Excellence (JBTEC). The Security Specialist will assist the Government Site Security Manager with facility security functions; Operational, Industrial and Physical security; and perform functions to support the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). 

The Security Specialist may assist others in the office with general support to daily operations to include support for travel, scheduling, document control to include compliance with foreign disclosure sourcing and formatting, resource management, video and telephone conferencing, meeting coordination, protocol, calendar upkeep and records administration. Additionally this person will attend and support conferences, meetings and briefings as required.

This position is contingent upon award of contract to NATECH

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Support the Site Security Manager and Information Systems Security Officer with facility security functions and requirements such as but not limited to 

• visitor access and control, 
• key and combination control, 
• Portable Electronic Device control, 
• classified document management (production, shipping and destruction), 
• security education and security checks. 

Requirements

  

Minimum of 3 years demonstrated relevant experience and knowledge of Operational, Physical, Information and Personnel Security.
