Our Branch
As part of the Asphalt and Aggregates branch, Road Surfacing and Road Maintenance manages and undertakes the maintenance, rehabilitation and resurfacing of Brisbane City Council’s road infrastructure keeping Brisbane safe, moving and connected.
There are a number of permanent opportunities for Skilled Team Member, Asphalt to work on a nightshift rosters. Monday to Thursday 7pm to 5am 38hrs with overtime available.
The Role
As Skilled Team Member, you will work collaboratively with your team and operate mobile plant to spread, level and compact hot bituminous paving materials and other road construction materials to meet specification and internal requirements. You will undertake labouring tasks utilising general hand tools and plant items competently and safely to deliver requirements of high quality.
Note: The base remuneration for this position is complemented by a range of penalties and allowances that may be payable in accordance with Brisbane City Council Certified Agreement 2025 (CA11). Eligibility for, and payment of, any such penalties or allowances will depend on the duties performed and the hours worked.
