Purpose of the job
To manage and maintain redhat OpenStack environment and its components.
Duties and responsibilities
- Day to day operations of the systems including Systems Administration, Monitoring performance and Enhancement.
- Monitoring, Maintaining, and troubleshooting of OpenStack Cloud Services, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Maintain and troubleshooting integration between OpenStack and other systems.
- Manage, coordinate, and administrate of software upgrades, updates, patches, and hot fixes.
- Creating and updating the technical documentation for Linux server's and OpenStack environment.
- Working closely with the Backup team to ensure the backup operations with the best practices.
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from a recognized university.
Experience.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in RedHat OpenStack administration with Advanced setup, Implementation, Configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift and RedHat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Monitoring, Maintaining, and troubleshooting of OpenStack Cloud Services, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Manage, coordinate, and administrate of software upgrades, updates, patches, and hot fixes.
- Hands on experience on RedHat Satellite Administration.
- Hands on experience on OpenStack Ironic Bare Metal.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Very Good knowledge in Linux operating systems.
