The opportunity

The Coordinator, Sales Marketing – Samples and Event Support is responsible for managing and fulfilling sample orders through the North American Sample Room in Eden, NC. This role supports a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Sales Marketing, Sales, Product & Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Barbados Human Resources, corporate sponsorships, and other approved partners, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality sample execution. This position sits in the Marketing Services Department, reporting directly to the Vice President, Distributor Sales.

The role

• Complete sample order forms for various projects and submit from various internal stakeholders. This includes checking inventory, completing sample order forms, communicating with the distribution center and the tracking and communication of delivery to all parties.
• Work closely with our Sample Room located in Eden, NC, Planning and Merchandising Product departments to ensure that larger orders and new samples are delivered on time and are available.
• Maintain the monthly sample order tracker for weekly submission and report monthly on sample orders for actuals submissions.
• Maintain the sample library file by coordinating with sales to ensure that the sample room has the most up to date inventory based on the yearly line sheets. 
• Advise the Sample Library Manager within our Sample Room located in Eden, NC, once the sample library file is completed to ensure that inventory is available in the sample room. 
• Supports trade shows, open houses, and other events, managing logistics, sampling programs, layout, and activations to ensure successful execution.
• Submit invoices on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

The requirements

•  A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years' working experience in a marketing environment.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• A proactive self-starter with the confidence and curiosity to take initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and advanced knowledge of AI tools will be an asset.
