Your role and missions :
During this internship, you will contribute to the development of simulation and analysis tools supporting system engineering activities for our launch vehicle.
You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities :
Develop a debris fall-out simulation tool for launch vehicle safety analyses.
Design and implement simulation and analysis tools for system engineering activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including mechanical, structural, GNC, and systems engineers—to integrate their inputs.
Perform analyses and validate models using engineering data.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Your profile :
You are currently in the final year of an engineering program (or equivalent), specializing in one of the following fields :
Aerospace Engineering
Applied Mathematics
Physics
Astrodynamics / Orbital Mechanics
Systems Engineering
Scientific Computing
Required skills :
Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing tools.
Good understanding of physics-based modeling and numerical simulation.
Ability to work with incomplete data and engineering assumptions.
Strong problem-solving mindset and autonomy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred qualifications (Nice to have) :
Knowledge of launch vehicle systems.
Experience with Monte Carlo simulations.
Trajectory simulation or flight mechanics knowledge.
Proficiency in visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, etc.).
Knowledge of C++.
