Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage Department according to the Hotel’s policies and procedures.
Overseas the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner services and bar operations
Ensures restaurant, bar, kitchens and pelican are cleaned and ready for guests' arrival.
Oversees amenity deliveries to guest, F&B functions and active participation in costing of menu items.
Liaise with the Sales Department regarding any BEO’s for function, meetings and amenities.
Ensuring that the standards of service delivered to the guest by the F&B employees is in accordance with the company standards.
Assist with ensuring that all F&B Team Members, performed their duties and maintain their areas and equipment in a manner in compliance with the company policy and instructions as directed.
Assist with the preparation of all F&B requisitions so as to ensure that they are prepared properly and submitted for approval.
Check quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods
Complete periodic china, glass and silverware inventories
Ensure that all F&B areas are inspected in a timely manner and are in compliance with company´s standards by checking for cleanliness and quality services.
Assist with maintaining the highest level of sanitation throughout all Food and Beverage areas as prescribed.
Assist with the overall implementation of all F&B policies and procedures as it pertains to employees, work manuals, sanitation requirements.
Assist with ensuring that all Team Members in your department receive a complete familiarization and training for their positions when signing on.
Assist with reviews and performance evaluations of F&B staff.
Prepare all work schedules for approval by management.
Assist with the coordination of cleaning programs in all F&B areas (including general cleaning), identifying trends and making recommendation for improvements.
Assist with supervising, guiding, scheduling, and training Food and Beverage team members.
Support proper grooming and dress code for Team Members.
Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are in effect and followed.
Ensure that proper cash control, micros card and key control programs are followed.
Ensure that all Guests are served in a professional, consistent manner.
Handle guest complaints in restaurant and bar; and handle irate customers with a friendly /calm attitude and professional demeanor.
Ensure entire menu is available daily and hours of operation are strictly adhered to.
Monitor and inspect all food and beverage deliveries, ensuring portion controls are adhered to.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner consistent with the company’s policy.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
Inspect food and beverage outlets for proper storage, sanitation, security, neatness, and rotation of inventory.
Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager/ Assistant Manager of Restaurant and Bars.
