Your new responsibilities
- Autonomous execution of monthly payroll processing for a defined group of employees, ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company-specific regulations
- Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing, including all related follow-up activities
- Maintenance and continuous updating of payroll-relevant employee master data in the HR and payroll system (SAP)
- Handling payroll-related questions concerning income tax, social security, and labor law
- Acting as a point of contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters
- Ensuring compliance with data protection, security, and compliance requirements when handling sensitive personal data
- Supporting internal and external audits (e.g., social security institutions, tax authorities, internal audits)
- Contributing to the optimization and further development of payroll processes and ensuring adherence to defined process standards
- Ensuring structured time and task management, particularly within the payroll cycle
Who we are looking for
- In-depth professional knowledge of payroll accounting
- Ability to independently process monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Strong numerical skills combined with analytical and structured thinking
- High level of technical proficiency in payroll systems, ideally SAP
- Strong sense of responsibility, especially when handling sensitive and confidential data
- Excellent time management skills and a disciplined, process-oriented working style
- High awareness of compliance, data protection, and security requirements
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
