What you will do... • Data extraction, programing and testing for ad hoc report generation. • Compile, clean, and analyze large datasets to build, maintain, and run actuarial models for valuation or pricing. • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, streamline data collection, and improve existing tools. • Assist with the FSCO filing process by preparing required documentation. • Participant in the Product and Pricing process by preparing various data analysis and reports.
What you will bring... • University student in the Actuarial Science program. • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA), SQL and SAS. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving abilities and extreme attention to detail. • Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain complex findings to non-actuaries.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000. The salary for the successful candidate will be determined by various factors including but not limited to an individual’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, along with internal equity, and market considerations.
