Position Objective:
This role is responsible for standardizing security practices, managing risks in a comprehensive manner, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while aligning the security function with the company’s strategic business objectives.
Define, lead, and execute the physical, industrial, and asset protection security strategy across multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring the safety of employees, facilities, and company assets.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate degree preferred.
Proven experience in managerial security roles with responsibility for multiple manufacturing plants.
Strong knowledge of physical and industrial security and asset protection.
Experience leading multidisciplinary, multi-site teams.
Solid command of security technologies, risk analysis, and crisis management.
Experience with supply chain security programs (CTPAT, Mexico OEA) and regulatory compliance.
Strategic mindset with a results-driven, data-based decision-making approach.
Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel between plants.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead the security strategy for multiple plants, aligned with corporate policies, international standards, and business priorities.
Oversee and coordinate security operations across several manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and compliance.
Develop, implement, and maintain security standards, procedures, and controls applicable to all plants under scope.
Lead security risk assessments, threat analysis, and mitigation plans for facilities, personnel, and assets.
Direct the management of critical security incidents, investigations, and corrective and preventive action plans.
Manage and optimize security infrastructure and technologies, including access control, CCTV, surveillance, and monitoring systems.
Lead and develop plant security leaders and teams, strengthening capabilities, performance, and operational alignment.
Ensure compliance with supply chain security programs, including CTPAT and Mexico OEA, as well as internal and external audits.
Manage security vendors, contracts, and budgets for assigned plants.
Collaborate closely with Operations, EHS, Human Resources, Legal, IT, and Supply Chain.
Establish and monitor KPIs, metrics, and executive-level security performance reports.
Identify emerging risks, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and a strong security culture.
