Term Time Only
Mon-Thu 8:30 - 17:00 and Fri 8:30-16:30 with an hour unpaid lunch.

Bath College is seeking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Staff to join our inclusive and learner-focused support team.

As a member of the Learning Support team, you will provide high-quality support based on an empowering and enabling model of practice. You will work alongside learners, curriculum staff and wider support teams to remove barriers to learning, promote independence and help learners participate fully in college life. 

A particular feature of this opportunity is the potential to undertake a nationally recognised Level 5 apprenticeship, supporting professional development, enhancing future career prospects and helping to create progression opportunities into specialist roles and higher salary levels over time. • contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment  
• support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times  
• maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements

Previous experience of supporting young people, adults or learners with additional needs would be advantageous, although applicants with the right values, potential and commitment will also be welcomed.
