Position Summary At Sea Fox Boats, the Shipping Supervisor plays a critical role in the final stage of the manufacturing process—ensuring every boat is fully complete, meets our quality standards, and is delivered on time to dealers and customers. This is not a warehouse role; it is a hands-on, production-facing leadership position requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of boats and customer expectations. This individual serves as the final checkpoint before delivery, coordinating across departments to ensure every Sea Fox boat leaves the facility in true “customer-ready” condition.Key Responsibilities Final Readiness & Coordination
Oversee and verify completion of all boats scheduled for shipment
Partner with production, quality control, and service teams to resolve any outstanding issues prior to shipment
Ensure all required components, documentation, and accessories are complete and accurate
Scheduling & Logistics
Manage and maintain the shipping schedule to meet weekly delivery targets
Coordinate with transportation providers and dealers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Optimize yard flow and staging to prevent bottlenecks and congestion
Quality & Presentation
Conduct final inspections to confirm boats meet Sea Fox quality standards and are shipment-ready
Ensure boats are clean, detailed, and properly prepared for customer delivery
Serve as the final line of defense for quality before shipment
Yard & Inventory Organization
Maintain organization of the yard, including boat placement, staging, and tracking
Monitor yard capacity and ensure efficient use of space
Track boat locations and status in real time
Communication & Accountability
Act as the central point of communication between production, quality, sales, and dealers regarding shipment status
Proactively identify risks to shipment schedules and escalate issues as needed
Provide daily updates on shipment readiness and overall performance
Team Leadership
Lead and manage the shipping and yard team
Set clear expectations for performance, organization, and accountability
Foster a culture of urgency, ownership, and attention to detail
Qualifications Experience
3+ years in a manufacturing, marine, or related environment
Hands-on boating experience required (operation, rigging, or sales exposure)
Boat sales or dealer experience is a strong plus
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
