Project Process Description Fleet Coordinator lead is responsible for optimizing a large vehicle fleet's lifecycle, from dealer onboarding and strategic acquisitions to remarketing and replacement. It involves continuous monitoring of vehicle health, compliance, and finances, alongside managing stakeholder relationships and leading a dedicated team, including international supplier integration
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a related field
5+ years of experience in vendor/supplier management, fleet management, logistics
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
Proven project management and team leadership capabilities.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating a motivated, proactive attitude and creative problem-solving. This includes taking ownership of tasks, anticipating challenges, developing effective solutions and possessing an excellent eye for detail.
Highly adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Experience/understanding of MS Office/Google Suite (Sheets/Documents/Slides)
Automotive industry experience or a strong understanding of vehicle fleet operations (e.g., procurement, maintenance, logistics, compliance).
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, sales, and replacement in alignment with product roadmaps
Manage and optimize fleet performance through preventive maintenance programs, post-repair monitoring, and ensuring continuous availability to meet demand forecasts.
Oversee all aspects of fleet compliance and administration, including inspections, insurance claims, and vehicle tax payments.
Drive strategic vendor and stakeholder relationships with external service providers (e.g., dealerships, transportation carriers) and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and timely updates.
Provide strong team leadership, effectively delegating tasks, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring adequate resources for team success.
Handle comprehensive administrative tasks related to fleet management and team oversight.
Conduct occasional international travel to onboard new suppliers and establish on-the-ground services.
