Work you’ll do

Application of accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate/timely financial reports & statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

• To approve purchase orders for asset requisitions using the Ariba Spend Management software system
• Managing and processing asset management transactions such as transfers and disposals
• Assisting in period end tasks, including the preparation for, and run of depreciation/MIS etc.
• Complete various asset reporting functions
• Assist with other Property Accounting tasks as assigned
• Responding to inquiries regarding accounts payable invoices relating to fixed assets to Vendors/Internal Clients
• Good Exposure to the Complete Asset Accounting Module of SAP (FI-AA)
• Delivers to agreed Service Level Expectations (SLEs)

Requirements

• B.com/M.com/MBA Finance graduate with minimum of 3 years of relevant ALM experience, preferably in a professional services firm
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Should be proactive and possess good oral and written communication skills
• Have attention to detail
• Ability to perform extensive research to reach accurate conclusions with ambiguous data scenarios
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
• Understanding of SAP (preferred)
