REFOCUS is seeking a Child Case Coordinator – Delegated Authority to join our team and support culturally safe, family-led planning for children and families.
This role sits within REFOCUS’s Delegated Authority framework and works in close partnership with Child Safety, families, communities, cultural connection, and family participation.
This position does not hold statutory case management responsibility. Statutory case management remains with the Child Safety Officer.

As a Child Case Coordinator – Delegated Authority, you will:
You will not authorise decisions. All authorising powers sit with the REFOCUS Chief Executive Officer. Strong communication, role clarity, and respect for governance processes are essential to this role.
Pay and conditions
Permanent part-time position
Hourly pay rates range from:
Level 1 PPT1 $35.93 per hour, up to Level 4 PPT 5 $52.60 per hour
Classification level and pay rate are assessed and determined based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capability.

Qualifications and experience
Training and support
Entry-level practitioners will receive intensive training in child safety legislation, policies, procedures, and Delegated Authority practice. Ongoing supervision, mentoring, and professional development are core to this role.
