Job DetailsJob Location: MDS Main Office Location - Orlando, FL 32806Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: TransportationMears Select Dispatcher Luxury Transportation Services   About the Role We are looking for a calm, organized, and customer-focused Dispatcher to support our luxury transportation services. In this role, you will help coordinate vehicles and drivers, monitor trips in real time, and step in quickly to resolve issues so our guests receive reliable, high-quality service. What You’ll Do Monitor vehicles and trips using a computerized dispatch system Communicate with drivers by computer, phone, and electronic messaging Communicate with customers by phone, email, and electronic messaging on quotes, bookings, trip updates, and other customer related questions. Support drivers with pickup, routing, and destination questions Track trips in real time and manage delays, changes, and last-minute updates Assist with emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or guest issues Respond to and report service issues to supervisors and/or operations management Watch for system or equipment issues and report problems Perform other related duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Ability to stay calm, professional, and friendly in high-pressure situations Strong communication skills, both spoken and written Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a strong customer-service mindset QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent Dispatch or transportation experience is preferred but not required Ability to learn and remember local geography, including hotels, airports, and major destinations Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages) Comfortable using computers, dispatch software, mapping tools, and a 10-key calculator Experience with dispatch software is a plus, but training will be provided Schedule & Requirements Full-time position Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Overtime may be available Non-tobacco user required
