The Kenvue Procurement Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Consolidation and Reporting to join our dynamic finance team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and forecasting analytics, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company reporting standards. You will work closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting that supports strategic decision-making and value generation for the organization.
The role requires both detailed analytics as well as an ability to understand and operate from a big picture perspective to ensure alignment with Supply Chain Procurement strategies. This includes reporting & analytics of procurement spend and cost variance across multiple categories and entities, to provide timely key financial metrics to enable business on decision making.
Further, candidate will play a key role in preparing and coordinating content for business reviews with senior leadership as well as acts as representation of finance in global procurement projects and finance technology initiatives.
The successful candidate should have strong analytical and technical abilities as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position will also be a relied member of the Regional Supply Chain Finance team and contribute and drive towards key process improvement / standardizations, such as PPV (Purchase Price Variance) reporting and forecasting capabilities.
What You Will Do
Financial Consolidation & Analysis
· Prepare and oversee the monthly consolidation of financial data from multiple manufacturing sites and entities
· Collaborate with various finance departments and ensure that financial results are validated and accurately consolidated, in accordance with financial policies.
· Develop and deploy in-depth financial analysis tools, including cost variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting analytics.
· Provide actionable insights based on financial reports to support business unit finance team in their business partnering activities.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial consolidation and reporting as well as product costing.
· Leads coordination of Business Planning process and forecast update cycles with the Procurement finance team, including standard costing process and P&L forecasting
Reporting
· Assist in the preparation of leadership presentations and internal reporting materials.
· Generate comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key insights and cost variances.
· Support the development and enhancement of company’s financial reporting tools and systems and act as key point of contact for procurement finance.
· Participate in various finance-related projects, including system implementations, process optimizations, and financial modelling
Collaboration
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Inventory/Plant accounting, product costing, regional finance operations, to ensure alignment on financial data and reporting requirements
· Build and foster a transparent & collaborative partnership with key finance teams
· Mentor and train junior financial analysts and support their professional development
Required qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree or other financial certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA) are preferred.
· Experience in financial analysis, consolidation, and reporting, preferably in a corporate finance environment (FMCG Supply Chain experience would be preferred)
· Excellent analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills. The ability to think creatively for problem-solving is required. A good proficiency in using data automation tools is an advantage
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to drive and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
