Captain Brian J. Fournier is the President of Portland Tugboat and a state-licensed docking pilot. He has docked ships on the East, West, and Gulf Coasts, and has led tractor-tug training exercises with Sea River Maritime in San Francisco and Portland Pipeline in Maine. He has been in the maritime industry since 1980's.
Portland Tugboat is seeking an Able-Bodied Seaman to join their team onboard the Jackie F. McAllister. Specific duties and responsibilities are outlined below:
Able-Bodied Seaman (AB)
Reports to:
The Able-Bodied Seaman is responsible and accountable to the Mate and/or Captain if necessary.
Supervises:
As an experienced member of the deck department, the Able-Bodied Seaman supervises subordinate deck personnel at the direction of the Mate or Captain.
