The Documentation Specialist designs, standardizes, and
improves operational documents including batch records, SOPs, forms,
checklists, and templates. This role ensures clarity, usability, and compliance
using cognitive design and plain‑language principles.
Key Responsibilities

Inventory,
classify, and assess existing documents for readability, structure,
duplication, ambiguity, and error‑prone elements.

Redesign
high‑priority documents using cognitive design, visual hierarchy, and
error‑proofing methods.

Develop
standardized templates, metadata standards, style guides, and visual
conventions.

Produce
controlled change packages, redlines, and traceability matrices.
-
Ensure
documents comply with GMP/GxP and ALCOA+ data integrity expectations.
Requirements

Expertise
in technical writing, information architecture, and plain language.

Strong
skills in readability optimization, progressive disclosure, and structured
authoring.

of document control systems and quality requirements.
