apply nowAs an USV Engineer you will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in hydrography and aquatic drone technology.
Your responsibilities:
Develop and optimize electromechanical systems for aquatic drones used in hydrographic surveys.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and communication systems into drone platforms.
Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electromechanical systems with software components.
Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions.
Prepare comprehensive documentation for all design and development activities.
Maintain accurate records of design iterations, testing results, and improvements.
Ensure that all electromechanical systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Participate in certification processes and audits as necessary.
You have min 5 years of relevant experience.
You have an engineering degree with preference to maritime industry or electrical/mechanical engineering.
You have proven experience in electromechanical design.
Knowledge of maritime environment or hydrographic survey techniques and equipment is a plus.
You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.
Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe.
Communication skills in reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.
