The EHS Manager is responsible for leading Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) for the Flamemaster operations and site. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as transportation and trade regulations while actively enabling sustainable operational growth.
This role should empower operations to scale sustainably through simplifying processes, eliminating redundant documentation, and ensuring that safety, environment and quality systems help the business run effectively.
- Leads Flamemaster safety and environmental governance.
- Oversees OSHA safety programs, incident investigation, and employee training requirements.
- Manages environmental regulatory compliance including reporting and waste disposal programs.
- Ensures compliance with HAZMAT/Dangerous Goods transportation regulations.
- Oversees SDS governance and alignment with global regulatory teams.
- Supports import/export compliance, including ITAR / trade compliance requirements.
- Owns emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills, incident command roles, spill control, fire prevention, and post-incident reviews.
- Ensures measurement and monitoring equipment are controlled and calibrated per AS9100 requirements and site procedures.
- Supports development of NA sustainability programs, including waste reduction, emissions reporting (including CO2 emissions), and responsible resource usage.
- Develops and tracks HSE KPIs (safety & environmental metrics).
- Partners with operations, supply chain, maintenance, production, and customer service.
- Coordinates management review activities and provides leadership reporting.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
Profile required
Qualifications Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in HSE in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with:

- Knowledge in life cycle analysis methodology.
Functional Skills / Knowledge To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential qualification satisfactorily.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety requirements and programs.
- Ability to manage audits, certification processes, and third-party regulatory interactions.
- Strong root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving capability (8D, RCA, FMEA, etc.)..
- Experience with dangerous goods compliance and SDS management.
- Effective communication and coaching skills across all organizational levels.
