JOB TITLE: Beverage Cart Attendant
JOB SUMMARY: Driving the beverage cart around the golf course, providing beverage service and snacks to guests of the golf course
REPORTS TO: Outlet Manager
PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for cash handling and different types of transactions
2. Check golf cart for gas
3. Check and stock cart with daily supplies; beer, soft drinks, chips, snacks etc
4. Check with golf pro for daily schedule of golfers.
5. Drive around course, selling drinks and snacks.
6. Check out with manager when leaving for the day.
7. Re-stock beverage cart, check for any needed repairs, and clean cart with power wash, give report to Beverage Manager.
8. Ring in all transactions, count bank, and drop money
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Stocking, cleaning and maintaining operation of beverage cart. Must check oil and gas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Driving the cart requires sitting for long periods; must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds safely.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work takes place outdoors. Exposure to all types of weather conditions, such as heat, sun, cold, high humidity, rain, fog, and lightning. Schedule includes weekends and holidays.
HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Bees, possibility of being hit by golf balls or golf clubs, weather, broken bottles. Must take precaution from hot sun by wearing sunscreen and sunglasses. Care must be taken to lift and carry items carefully.

Requirements
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 18 years of age.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must possess valid driver’s license and have ability to drive a golf cart. Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must have basic, good math skills and be capable of counting money and making correct change to the guest.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School or GED. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: None required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Must have good math skills with the ability to add and subtract, make correct change. Knowledge of PLCB regulations.
PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS: Trustworthy, friendly, outgoing, personable and genuinely enjoy dealing with the public.
