The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Applications Manager to serve as a strategic technology partner to our Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Operations teams. In this role, you will own the administration, optimization, and evolution of our ERP platform, JD Edwards
Enterprise One, and other key back-office systems driving process improvements, managing integrations, and leading projects that directly support Datacolor's global operations.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. This is for someone who can translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and lead with both technical depth and collaborative energy.
Additionally, as Datacolor moves to adopt AI tools and techniques, you will have the opportunity to build proficiency in multiple AI platforms and strategies. This will include proof of concept solutions and leveraging of features within existing vendor tools with a chance to show the value of these tools to automate corporate systems.
The Team
Reporting to the Global Director of IT and Cybersecurity, this role is part of a globally distributed team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the world predominantly through virtual working models.
What You'll Do
System Administration & Optimization
• Configure, maintain, and continuously improve JD Edwards E1 to align with evolving
business needs across all departments and functions.
• Design and manage workflows, data validation rules, and automation triggers to
streamline operations.
• Monitor new JD Edwards features and releases, proactively identifying opportunities to
expand system capabilities.
Integrations & Architecture
• Oversee and support integrations between JD Edwards E1 and third-party platforms,
including but not limited to Salesforce, SAP Concur, Vertex and e-Invoicing platforms.
• Evaluate and implement third-party solutions as needed, and support future ERP
migration initiatives.
Project & Stakeholder Management
• Lead end-to-end delivery of ERP-related projects, defining scope, timelines, and
deliverables for internal teams, contractors, and consultants.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, R&D, and other business units to gather
requirements, document processes, and ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
• Prioritize and manage competing workstreams with a structured, results-driven
approach.
Quality, Security & Compliance
• Create and execute test cases; support user acceptance testing (UAT) and release
management processes.
• Ensure all system changes comply with ISO 27001 and TISAX security standards.
• Partner with IT Security and R&D to maintain system integrity and respond promptly to
security audits, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing findings.
• Support internal and external finance audit processes.
Team Enablement
• Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring colleagues and fostering knowledge sharing
across the IT organization.
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date system documentation and keep stakeholders informed of
changes and improvements.
• Ensure SLA compliance and coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues
efficiently.
Future
• In addition to its strong focus on JD Edwards, the role will stay informed on broader ERP
developments to contribute to long-term IT planning discussions.
What You Bring
Experience
• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise-level systems, including a minimum of 3
years as a JD Edwards E1 Administrator or Consultant is preferred.
• Proven track record leading ERP analysis, development, or systems teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical projects from initiation through delivery.
Technical Knowledge
• Deep functional knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards E1 preferred), including Sales
Order Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Multi-Currency, and
Intercompany Transactions.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and third-party platform connectivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; comfort working in a global, multi-system
environment.

• Strong communicator. Able to engage effectively with both technical teams and business
stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global
environment.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex problems
and drive timely resolution.
• Collaborative team player who also operates effectively with autonomy.
• Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering exceptional internal
customer experiences.
• Knowledge and experience in using AI tools for personal productivity and analysis is a
plus.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field or
equivalent professional experience.
• Graduate degree in Information Systems or related fields is a plus.
Language
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus given our global footprint.
