Client Onboarding Functional Specialist – SEI Trust 3000 (T3K)

Role Overview:
The
Client Onboarding Functional Specialist
plays a critical role in the successful onboarding of wealth
management, private bank, and trust clients onto the
SEI Trust 3000 (T3K)
platform. This role will be part of
the Operations team working directly with the end clients. The Client Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial
role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for client organizations. The specialist brings
strong
wealth management domain expertise
, a deep understanding of
T3K onboarding and operational
workflows
, and the ability to lead functional discussions across onboarding operations.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end client onboarding process as per the Standard Operating Processes
·
Communication: Maintain excellent communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate smooth onboarding.
·
Compliance: Ensure all onboarding processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
·
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to monitor onboarding performance and identify areas for improvement.
·
Participate in requirements, enhancements for client onboarding onto SEI Trust 3000, covering account setup, client data, assets, and operational readiness.
·
Analyze client business models, operating procedures, and service expectations to design
fit-for-purpose onboarding solutions

Document detailed
business rules, workflows, and data mappings
aligned to T3K capabilities.
·
Serve as the primary onboarding functional point of contact for
clients, delivery teams, and third-party stakeholders
.
·
Participate in any meetings, and design sessions to validate onboarding processes, assumptions, and dependencies and recommend improvements.
·
Ensure onboarding processes align with
regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements
, including KYC, AML, CIP, and account governance controls.
·
Partner with client compliance and operations teams to validate onboarding documentation and approval checkpoints.
·
Support
client data conversion and migration
activities, including account, client, asset, and historical data onboarding into T3K.
·
Review and validate data mapping specifications, reconciliation outputs, and exception handling processes.
·
Support
UAT planning and execution
, including test scenario definition, defect triage, and functional sign-off.
·
Participate in
go-live readiness assessments
, cut over planning, and post-go-live stabilization support.
·
Identify opportunities to
standardize, streamline, and optimize onboarding processes
across engagements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
·
5+ years
of experience in
wealth management or trust operations
.
·
2+ years
in a
Client Onboarding, Functional Specialist, or Business Analyst
role.
·
Hands-on experience with
SEI Trust 3000 (T3K)
is
strongly required
.
