Berwick BMW, MINI & Motorrad, part of the award-winning, family-owned Jowett Motor Group, is looking for an experienced Roadworthy Technician to carry out roadworthy inspections and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal and road-worthy inspections on BMW/other make vehicles, identifying and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Execute routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address complex automotive issues.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed BMW (if applicable) standards and specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with the service team to prioritise and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain precise and detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
- Stay current with BMW training and certifications to uphold the highest professional standards
About you
You’ll bring:
- Sound mechanical knowledge and exceptional diagnostic skills.
- A dedication to customer satisfaction.

- Experience working in an automotive service environment.
- A problem solver with technical aptitude.
- Current Australian drivers’ license.
- Proven experience as a qualified BMW technician/ roadworthy technician, with an extended focus on internal and road-worthy inspections for all makes.
- Possession of relevant certifications from a recognised automotive training program.
- In-depth knowledge of BMW systems, components, and proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in diagnostic and repair work.
