Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for an experienced and committed water cart operator to join our team based at our Nudgee Recycling Facility.
This is a full-time role, hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday, with 7am to 12pm midday Saturday shifts when required.
In your new role with us, you will:
Carry out day to day operation of the water cart
Conducting pre-start checks and ensuring the truck is maintained in a safe and serviceable condition
Communicating effectively via UHF radio with Excavator and Loader operators regarding truck movements
Perform general labour activities
This role is a great fit for you if you:
Can work autonomously
Hold a valid HR licence
Articulated truck experience highly advantageous, but not essential
Are professional, self-motivated and take pride in your work
Have high attention to detail in work output
Are a team player and hold a high regard for safety policies and procedures
Enjoy contributing to a productive team environment to achieve results
What we offer:
Hourly rate of $33.74/hour, plus penalty rates, plus super
