Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Total Rewards – Australia & New Zealand to lead Total Rewards for the region and provide strategic consultation to HR Business Partners and business leaders across all areas of compensation and benefits.
This critical role will lead a team of Total Rewards specialists, drive the delivery of locally competitive programs, and partner with stakeholders to develop holistic Total Rewards solutions aligned to business priorities and enterprise frameworks.
About the Role:
Lead Total Rewards for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant and aligned to business objectives
Lead and develop a team of Total Rewards specialists, with accountability for end-to-end Total Rewards outcomes across Australia and New Zealand
Provide senior-level internal consulting services on compensation, benefits, job design and classification matters
Provide guidance and recommendations to leaders and HR on complex and high-impact Total Rewards decisions
Lead execution of core compensation and benefits processes (e.g. merit reviews, incentives, benefits renewals)
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting compensation and benefits, and develop appropriate recommendations
Ensure alignment and harmonization of Total Rewards programs across Boeing businesses within Australia and New Zealand, supporting talent mobility where appropriate
Partner with Total Rewards Centres of Excellence to implement enterprise programs and ensure local relevance
Oversee benchmarking, pay positioning and internal equity analysis to support decision-making
Audit and monitor performance metrics and standards for compensation and benefits programs
Act as an escalation point for complex or non-standard Total Rewards matters, ensuring appropriate governance and consistency
Support regional and global Total Rewards projects and initiatives (e.g. program changes, integrations)
Provide an advocacy role for employees and leaders on benefits and compensation matters, ensuring programs remain competitive and relevant
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
10–15+ years’ relevant experience
Proven experience leading compensation and benefits programs within a complex, global organisation
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
Strong knowledge of Australia and New Zealand compensation and benefits practices, market trends and regulatory environment
Proven ability to engage, influence and partner with senior stakeholders
Strong analytical capability with experience using data to inform decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Experience working in a regional or global team and implementing enterprise Total Rewards strategies
Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday)
M&A / integration or transformation experience
Professional certifications (e.g. CCP, GRP) or advanced degree
