As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you will work with a variety of accounts payable tasks to support our day-to-day financial processes. You will also play an important role in an ongoing AP automation project, contributing to improved efficiency and accuracy within our finance operations.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the accounting team, as well as stakeholders across the organisation.
Location: Gothenburg
Contract: Hourly employment until end of July.
Key Responsibilities
In this role as Accounts Payable Assistant, your main responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and contributing to efficient collaboration across teams.
Enter and interpret supplier invoices using our document reader and operational systems
Post invoices to the correct accounts and ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts
Reconcile accounts payable statements
Contact suppliers to resolve missing or incorrect invoice information
Maintain and update supplier databases
Communication and Collaboration
Communicate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient collaboration.
Provide service-minded support and maintain clear communication in English.
Work closely with other departments, primarily within our Brands & Legal practice, to ensure they receive the financial support they need.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who is eager to develop within accounting and finance. You have a strong sense of accuracy, enjoy working in a structured way, and are curious about learning new systems and processes. With a collaborative and service-minded approach, you communicate effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key qualifications include:
Ongoing or completed education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an advantage
