We are currently seeking a talented Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team supporting our client in Oklahoma City.

Job Description – Objectstream, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design and deliver data analytics solutions that empower educational leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modeling with a passion for improving outcomes across the education ecosystem.

This is a hands‑on, onsite role in Oklahoma City supporting large‑scale analytics initiatives for state and education clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and manage Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models focused on K‑12 and higher‑education insights.
• Collaborate with educators, analysts, and technology teams to define and visualize key performance metrics.
• Develop optimized DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and SQL data sources.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across models and reports.
• Publish, maintain, and govern Power BI workspaces in line with data‑governance best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience building Power BI dashboards (Desktop and Service).
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and relational/tabular data models.
• Strong SQL skills for data preparation and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Dataverse, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support education‑sector users.

Preferred: 

• Experience in the educational domain (K‑12 or higher education data systems).
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks.
• Microsoft PL‑300 or equivalent Power BI certification.
