Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
Locations: Pune
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), you will start your career in Rockwell Automation, working on real-world manufacturing IT systems and digital platforms. You will be part of development team collaborating with peer developers, Technical Lead and Project Manager, while learning industrial processes and global delivery models. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about coding, innovation, and learning enterprise grade scalable software solutions.
You will report to Technical Director, Global Digital GCC and have a hybrid working model based on Project need.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Python, or JavaScript and is ready to take up full-stack or multiple programming responsibility
Collaborate with team to provide high-quality solutions and without deviating the standards
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
Contribute to AI/ML-enabled enhancements in existing applications
Learn new tools, and industry best practices
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, IS, DS, AI/ML or Electronics related engineering discipline
Proficiency in any one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript and it's frameworks
Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic cloud concepts
Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and OOP concepts
Demonstrates Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions. Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools, and frameworks
Exposure to Data Science fundamentals and related tools
Internship or academic project experience in software development or analytics
