The opportunity
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an electrical engineer to join our Power Grids Technology business at Hitachi Energy. You will be joining a well-structured team operating in the Baltic countries, consisting of engineering, service, and project management teams, with a total of 30 people.
We are seeking an electrical engineer who will be responsible for engineering, commissioning, and maintenance of control and protection systems in up to 330kV installations. Close cooperation with clients and subcontractors is essential.
The seniority of the position is flexible, so whether you’re a young engineer starting out or an experienced professional, we welcome you to apply.
How you'll make an impact
- Engineer, commission and maintain protection, control and related systems in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Solve technical problems and offer new solutions for customers in collaboration with the team.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Be willing to perform basic hands-on tasks when needed.
Your background
- Electrical engineer, corresponding to occupational standards of Estonian/European Qualifications Framework (EstQF/EQF), Level 6
- Practical skills of graphical CAD systems and designing systems: Eplan, E3, AutoCad
- Knowledge of control and computer systems for electrical installations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Estonian and English
- Good teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
- Ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
