Description
Are you passionate about safety and regulatory compliance?
We're recruiting for a Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our Airport maintains the highest standards of operational safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with operational teams and regulators, you will help strengthen the Airport’s compliance monitoring and safety assurance activities, supporting the ongoing development of the Airport’s Safety Management System (SMS).
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting aerodrome compliance monitoring, internal audit activity, and safety assurance processes across airport operations.
- Conducting internal audits and compliance monitoring activities.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Airport SMS.
- Monitoring operational compliance with aerodrome regulations and standards.
- Supporting hazard identification, risk assessment and safety investigations.
- Analysing safety and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinating regulatory inspections and audits.
- Working with operational teams to strengthen safety culture and compliance awareness.
- Maintaining critical aerodrome operational and safety documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are looking for someone with experience in aviation operations, safety, compliance, or regulatory oversight, ideally within an aerodrome or aviation operational environment.
You will bring:
- Experience working within a regulated aviation environment
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, or compliance monitoring
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to improving safety and compliance
