This role is responsible for developing and expanding dealership relationships, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and increasing market penetration of Ag Express products and services. The RSM operates with a dealership-centric mindset, aligning sales activities to dealer needs, capabilities, and growth objectives while consistently delivering results that support the company’s overall strategy.
The assigned territory for this role includes the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities:
Dealer & Customer Engagement
Own and grow relationships with assigned agricultural dealer accounts, serving as the primary sales contact for Ag Express Electronics.
Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with agricultural dealers and key decision-makers.
Serve as a trusted partner by understanding dealer business models, operational challenges, and growth objectives.
Conduct regular onsite visits, follow-up calls, and virtual meetings to drive engagement, loyalty, and sales growth.
Communicate proactively with dealers regarding product solutions, pricing strategy, order status, lead times, and delivery expectations.
Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure dealer satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for expanded business.
Plan, document, and record dealer interactions and opportunities to ensure consistent follow-through and account visibility.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Execute approved sales strategies with a strong focus on dealer-driven growth.
Identify, qualify, and develop new dealer and end-customer opportunities.
Recommend and quote appropriate Ag Express products and services tailored to dealer and customer needs.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close, delivering a professional, value-driven sales experience.
Develop and execute dealer-specific account strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Sales Coordination & Execution
Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive pricing, quotes, and proposals aligned with dealer needs and company guidelines.
Partner cross-functionally to align dealer expectations with production, purchasing, logistics, and service capabilities.
Support timely order fulfillment and issue resolution by coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders.
Market Insight & Strategic Contribution
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and dealer performance to identify risks and growth opportunities.
Share market intelligence, dealer feedback, and insights with leadership to inform strategy and decision-making.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and the overall dealer experience.
Technical & Product Expertise
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Ag Express products, services, and solutions.
Communicate technical value propositions clearly and effectively in a practical, solution-oriented manner.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings impacting agricultural dealers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with sales, purchasing, shipping, service, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate on initiatives that enhance dealer support, training, and long-term partnership success.
Continuous Improvement & Brand Representation
Participate in sales meetings, product training, and professional development activities.
Represent Ag Express Electronics at trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events.
Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence and relevance within the dealer network.
Documentation & Administration
Accurately document sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and account updates within the CRM system.
Coordinate business travel and manage expenses in alignment with approved budgets.
Maintain accurate records of business expenses and required documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Work Experience:
5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within agricultural equipment, electronics, or dealer-based sales models.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to support dealer relationships.
Computer Skills: Ability to use standard office equipment and computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Proficiency in using CRM software for lead tracking and pipeline management is advantageous.
Physical Demands:
Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally, the role may involve lifting and carrying office equipment or materials weighing up to a certain limit.
Standing and Walking: Ability to navigate various onsite meetings with customers and facilities within the organization’s premises.

Sitting for Extended Periods: Much of the work will be conducted at a desk requiring the ability to sit for extended periods while performing tasks.
