

Senior Policy Officer Planning & Environment
About the role
The Senior Policy Officer Planning & Environment works closely with the General Manager Planning & Environment to lead policy development and advocacy that supports efficient, environmentally responsible and timely deployment of clean energy projects across Australia.
The role engages extensively with members, governments, regulators and industry stakeholders to shape planning, environmental and regulatory frameworks that enable renewable energy, storage and transmission infrastructure. The position provides authoritative policy advice, undertakes high-level research and analysis, and supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 76 hours per fortnight (1 FTE). Salary for this role is $130K - $140K plus super, based on experience.
