About Us
At Mirai - a Scopely Studio, we believe high-quality software is about partnership, advocacy, and
deep respect for our colleagues. The best engineers augment their technical ability with listening
first, asking thoughtful questions, and influencing through clarity, not volume. If that’s you, you’re
going to thrive here and learn a ton!
With world-class games like MonopolyGo, PokémonGo, Marvel StrikeForce, and Star Trek F.C., we're
full of trendsetters solving interesting problems on a scale no other gaming company has. We’re
game-changing (literally), and intentional about building a great place to be.
About the job
We’re hiring a Security Engineer – AI to build and run AI-focused observability, detection, and
response capabilities across cloud, SaaS, endpoints, and agentic toolchains. You’ll own the
“findings-to-fix” pipeline, build bespoke high-fidelity detection logic, and operationalize incident
response for AI services.
This is a hands-on builder role with a heavy focus on Security & Detection Engineering,
suitable for:
- Software Engineer - Security.
- Automated Detection & Response Engineer.
- DevSecOps Engineer.
- Security Automation Engineer.
- Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Security.
- Platform Engineer - Security.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate the telemetry and observability layer for AI systems, including audit
trails, correlation IDs, tool-call logging, and visibility into the delegation chain.
- Build detection and response capabilities for AI platforms, including alert enrichment,
automated triage workflows, containment playbooks, and investigation tooling.
- Develop and maintain a detection-as-code program with version-controlled rules, CI
validation pipelines, coverage metrics, FP promotion gateways, and continuous tuning. - Translate threat intelligence and attacker techniques into actionable detections mapped
to frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, and MITRE ATLAS, validating them
through chaos engineering. - Own the lifecycle of security findings across AI and cloud tooling: triage, prioritization,
remediation coordination, and prevention of regression. - Continuously improve incident response readiness for AI systems through drills,
automation, and post-incident learning.
Requirements
- 3+ years in security engineering (SecOps/Detection/IR/SRE-security hybrid) with strong
- automation skills.
- Hands-on scripting/coding (e.g., Python) and comfort working with log/event pipelines
- Experience with cloud security telemetry and alerting (AWS native services or
- equivalent), and modern endpoint/SaaS signals (Crowdstrike & Wiz)
- Ability to build pragmatic, reliable systems: tuning false positives, defining SLAs,
- measuring effectiveness.
- Experience building detection lifecycle management (dev validation deploy)
- tune) and SOAR-style playbooks.
Nice to have
- Software Engineering experience
- Experience with AI agent runtimes/tool calling LLMs / MCP-style connectors, sandboxing, or isolation patterns.
- Experience with privacy frameworks & Compliance-as-code
- Familiarity with AI/LLM agent architectures and how misuse/abuse manifests in telemetry.
