About the role
The Senior Advisor – CFO Services role supports organizations in enhancing their finance function, with a focus on financial and management reporting, reporting processes, and overall finance effectiveness. The position involves working closely with client finance teams to assist with month-end and year-end reporting, financial analysis, and initiatives related to finance transformation and reporting optimization.
In this role, the Senior Advisor contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while helping improve reporting accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency. The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments in a client-focused environment, and effective collaboration with both internal teams and client stakeholders.
Key duties & Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support CFO Services engagements by assisting organizations in strengthening their financial reporting, management reporting, and finance function effectiveness.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial information used for statutory and management reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Assist clients with month-end and year-end reporting processes, including reconciliations, analysis of financial data, and preparation of reporting packages.
- Participate in projects related to finance transformation, reporting optimization, and improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
- Support the preparation of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Work closely with client finance teams and internal project teams to gather data, understand reporting structures, and deliver high-quality advisory services.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency within the finance function.
- Stay up to date with developments in financial reporting frameworks and best practices within the finance and advisory environment.

Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Advisory, Transaction Services, Consulting, or related finance roles.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.
- Professional Certification: Progress toward a professional qualification such as ACCA or an equivalent certification will be considered a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with financial reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS) will be considered an advantage.
- Project & Client Delivery: Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, is essential for client and internal communications.
