Due to the rural locations of our Client and the requirement to support with transport to appointments and activities, we ask that candidates hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle insured for Class 1 Business use.
Home Instead Ivybridge & South Hams is recruiting a Live‑In Carer for a wonderful elderly gentleman living near the sea in beautiful rural South Devon. He’s sociable, intelligent, charismatic, and well‑loved in his community. As he enjoys getting out and about, we’re looking for a carer who is a driver with their own reliable vehicle. If you’re warm, proactive, and ready to support someone who truly values companionship and independence, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Live-In Carer, you’ll reside in the client’s home and provide a range of professional support services tailored to his needs - including companionship, personal care, medication, household chores and meal preparation - helping the client maintain his independence in the comfort of his own lovely home.
Our Live-In roles are ideal for those living locally, as well as for those seeking a change of scene from outside the local area. We offer flexible contracts that allow you to take on additional work during breaks from your Live-In role, helping you stay connected and continue supporting your community.

The role of Live-In Carer is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and two successful professional references.
