Outside Technical Sales Manager

Master Flo Beijing Representative office is currently seeking for a full-time Outside or Technical sales manager to be part of the China sales team.

Reporting to the China Country manager, this position will be responsible for sales and marketing of products from Master Flo Valve Inc., including choke valves, control valves, spare parts and other accessories or products from Master Flo Valve and Stream-Flo Industries.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are the sales and marketing activities of Chinese local and overseas EPC markets, domestic oil and gas markets, and shipbuilding activities. This included collection of market intelligence, competitors’ information, customers’ updates and other activities.

Secondary responsibilities are assisting with pre-quotation activities, such as review of specifications, sizing of valves, and other quotation aspects. This involves communicating with Head Office’s inside sales teams.

Duties include:

• Follow up with after sales project management, submissions of documents, etc.
• Develop marketing strategy for existing customer base and expansion of market share.
• Participate in budget plans.
• Attend maintenance and odd-hours conference calls on regular basis.
• Provide technical support to customers as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' working experience in an industrial, technical environment, preferably within the municipality, commercial and oil and gas industries, EPC and shipyards.
• Degree or diploma in mechanical or instrumentation technology is required
• Available to travel within China on a regular basis. Travels to overseas on a required basis.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Technical background in control valves or automation is an asset.
• Must be well verse in written and spoken Mandarin, especially in engineering terms. Must also possess good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to interact effectively with Engineering staff and non-technical customers alike.
• Self-motivated, possessing good organizational abilities, with ability to work independently or remotely.
• Strong customer service skills.
