The Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit registered health promotion charity that has been providing high-quality professional education and accessible psychological services to promote the psychological wellness of the community for more than 60 years.
Our clinics provide excellent placement opportunities to our counselling and psychotherapy students, and psychology students, under the supervision of experienced professionals like you, with a passion for ensuring that trainees receive the best supervision and support.
We are a Higher Education Provider and offer excellent postgraduate programs in psychology and counselling as well as short courses and professional development for mental health professionals and the broader community.
The Role
As a Senior Lecturer, you will make a significant contribution to the academic and administrative activities of the Faculty of Psychology, Counselling, and Psychotherapy.
You will provide leadership in the implementation, development, and delivery of both on-campus and online programs, with a major contribution to the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Additionally, you will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning at postgraduate levels, including curriculum leadership, coordination of sessional teaching teams, student support, and quality assurance processes. You may also contribute to research supervision in counselling and psychotherapy fields and engagement with external professional bodies.
A major part of your role will be ensuring that the course maintains alignment with PACFA and ACA accreditation standards.
